Hello

       I am a student studying game art. I hope to one day be able to create character concepts and designs for video games! Characters have always been the best part of any media for me. Whether I’m reading books, watching movies, or playing video games, the media was never mattered, all that mattered was that I could connect to the characters. This love for character and their struggles and ultimately their designs is what really inspired me to continue art.

      Ever since I was young, I wanted to make my own characters, I would often make my own character to put into my favorite animated shows. They didn’t start out great. They would often be clear rip-offs of existing character or even worse, poorly designed recolors. One of my first characters was a superhero named “Red Dragon” who was essentially just me, but with powers and a design stolen from two Marvel superheroes. While the design wasn’t super inspired and hardly unique, it inspired me, and that inspiration hasn’t stopped since.

      I love character design. Design of a character alone can draw me to that character. I’m personally drawn to darker color pallets and characters that give that mysterious vibe through their choice of clothing and drawn demeanor, and characters that just look like they want to be your friend. There are so many subtle things that can be said through a character’s design and that is why my work focuses on character design. As a professional, I hope to create designs and characters that can connect to others like characters have managed to connect to myself. I want others to be able to be inspired by my characters, because character design is what inspired me to pursue art.
